6 Reasons Why Email Marketing Can Work For You!

E-mail marketing is becoming a common approach to advertising. While many companies are rapidly utilizing e-mail marketing as an easy and effective approach to generate customers, many companies are still hesitant to dip their toes into the email marketing pond. Consumers are exposed to thousands of different messages each day. If you’re unsure that email marketing can help you stand out in the crowd check out these 6 benefits.

Obtain a Broad Reach

Chances are even your grandmother has e-mail. An e-mail marketing campaign can allow you to connect with your entire consumer base with one click.

Target Directly

Email marketing is based on sending out the right message directly to the right people based upon their preferences and local market conditions. You can create mailing lists and then segment them by geographic location, marital status, gender, age, income, time of year, etc. Doing so eliminates a lot of the guesswork that makes other forms of marketing so inefficient.

Obtain Valuable Feedback

An email marketing or newsletter application shows you vital statistics that will help you refine your next campaign. This type of software can even allow you to run split tests which will send one message to one half of your list and a different message to the other half. Tests such as these will help you determine the most effective approach for your customers.

Engage Your Prospects

Email marketing allows you to remind your customers and prospects of the valuable service or product you offer on a regular basis. Build a relationship with a broader base of customers so they think of you next time they are in need of the product or service you offer.

Save Money

Most forms of marketing require large upfront investments before you see any results. Email marketing has few upfront costs and allows you to market effectively without drawing funds away from the core areas of your business.

Don't Be a Pest

Unlike telemarketing, email campaigns do not interrupt your prospects prior activities. In fact, your customer or prospect is already checking their e-mail when they see your message. If you’ve done a good job of building the relationship they will look forward to hearing what you have to say.

How to Build Trust With Your Employees

Do your employees trust you? If your team's results are being negatively affected by employees not working to their potential, not taking the initiative, or not communicating critical information, then there may be a lack of trust between you and your staff. The Following tips will help you build T.R.U.S.T with your employees.

Time:
Trust takes time to develop and managers need to spend significant time listening to employees' goals, priorities, problems and aspirations.

Relationship:
Trust is built on an open and honest relationship with your employees. Always tell the truth and keep your promises. If you can't follow-through, then don't make the commitment.

Understanding:
Help employees understand their mistakes and help them learn from the experience. Instead of punishing employees for errors, coach them on the correct way of completing the task.

Sharing:
Over-communicate with your employees. Keep them up-to-date on what is happening in the company, business unit and in the team. Avoid surprises!

Tolerance:
Empathize with how your employees feel about situations and events. Be patient listening to their concerns and don't judge situations too quickly without learning all the facts.
